Rewriting My Name in The Sand (2018)
ReMNnTS is a sound sculpture that evaluates how architectures can provide a frame for documented sound. It addresses notions of belonging through liberating a space using welded metal rods that collapse to be brought elsewhere. When is occupies a space it performs a storytelling through 4 pre-recorded and manipulated audio tracks. This work explores architecture in a form of documenting archived sounds. It uses structure to pin tape loops as walls to provide a sort of shelter, a storytelling space through sound.
